womankynd counselling
rooted in empathy.
Counselling for individuals navigating identity, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm.
Our journey
Womankynd was created to be a safe and nurturing space for anyone who wants to explore their mental and emotional well-being. Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, self-doubt, or simply feeling overwhelmed, this is a space where you are seen, heard, and supported just as you are.
This practice is deeply inspired by my original candle business also called Womankynd which was founded to celebrate body positivity, self-love, and the culture of women of color. That mission lives on here, in a new and meaningful way.
The word “kynd” is intentionally spelled to reflect more than just kindness. It represents openness, compassion, and the ongoing journey of embracing who you are, inside and out.
At Womankynd, I believe in the power of slow healing. Growth doesn't always happen in big leaps, it often unfolds in small, quiet moments. You don’t have to rush your healing. There is space here for you to take your time and move at your own pace while creating bigger impacts on your wellness.
Womankynd is rooted in the power of feminine strength, but healing knows no gender. We welcome and support people of all genders with care and compassion.

My journey
Hello, my name is Bridget Mopera, and I am a Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling - Provisional.
Womankynd began as a creative brand shortly after I graduated high school, curating art through candles to honour self-love, body positivity, and the appreciation of women of colour. At its core, Womankynd has always been about care, and that care has since evolved into counselling!
From a young age, I’ve had a deep passion for helping people feel seen, heard, and understood. Long before I had language for it, empathy was something I practiced instinctively. This value continues to guide and inspire my work today.
My approach is person-centred and client-centred, grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect for each individual’s pace. I believe healing happens when people are given space. The space to explore their experiences, sit with difficult emotions, and move toward growth in a way that feels safe and intentional. I support clients navigating trauma, hardships, and challenges, whether they stem from everyday stressors or earlier life experiences.
I was born and raised in the Philippines and moved to Canada at the age of 13. Growing up within a traditional family and cultural environment, I understand the experience of feeling out of place and lacking safe spaces to fully explore identity and self-expression. These lived experiences inform my work and deepen my sensitivity to cultural context, belonging, and identity.
Through Womankynd Counselling, my aim is to create a compassionate, supportive space where vulnerability is met with care, and where clients are gently reminded of their strengths as we work through life’s challenges together.
